Microsoft includes the Windows Defender antivirus program. If Windows Defender alerts on DeepArmor, whitelist DeepArmor with Windows Defender. For example, on Windows 10:
- Open Windows Defender Security Center
- Click Virus & threat protection
- Click Virus & threat protection settings
- Scroll down to Exclusions
- Click the Add or remove exclusions
- Click the Add an exclusion button to display a drop-down list
- Select Folder
- Continue with the on-screen directions to add the new folder exclusion. Add a folder exclusion for each of the DeepArmor folders listed in the section below titled DeepArmor Directories/Folders to Whitelist.
Note: To remove an exclusion, perform the same procedure and in the selection step, select the item to remove and click the Remove button.
