The purpose of this article is to inform DeepArmor users on how to whitelist certain executable files that DeepArmor is catching and does not need to be catching. The following steps will show step by step how to add files to the whitelist folder on DeepArmor.
Step 1: Log in to your DeepArmor Admin Portal.
Step 2: Click the Administration tab, THEN click Device Policies tab within the Administration tab
Step 3: Click on the Device Policy name that has the file you want to whitelist and then click the Whitelisted Folder tab
Step 4: Click Edit button on the right, then add your program's executable folder path, make sure the path is entered correctly and click Save
(Optional) Step 5: Run the file you have just whitelisted to make sure that DeepArmor does not catch it. If it does not, then you have successfully whitelisted your file.
If DeepArmor does alert your file, double check the path to the file which was saved in the Whitelisted Folder tab is the correct path. If the path is correct and DeepArmor is still catching the file please reach out to us at : firstname.lastname@example.org
